Introductory courses provide the learner with the basic theoretical foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture and its application to health conditions that result in pain or disease. Each course includes the identification and location of acupuncture points, and basic needling techniques
The seminar also briefly discusses the acupuncture ethics and standards of practice.
Also included is supervised clinical practice at the INAM Integrated Health Services Clinic.
A Certificate of Attendance shall be given to those who complete the seminar.
The seminar also serves as an orientation to formal courses offered by INAM Philippines as training requisites to accreditation as certified acupuncturists by PITAHC of the Department of Health.
